Aerobics in City of Aberdeen

Aerobics is exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic movements with stretching and strength training. With the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength and cardio-vascular fitness) aerobics is usually performed to music in a group setting led by an instructor. Practitioners perform routines of a number of different dance-like exercises.

Aerobic exercise is great for your heart and lungs but, if you join an aerobics class, getting that essential sense of wellbeing can be fun and sociable too. Whatever your fitness level, there's an aerobics class for you. If you're the competitive type, there's Sport Aerobics. For exercise that's low impact on the joints, Water Aerobics is the way to go.
