Strength training in Wales

Strength training is exercise using resistance to build the strength, endurance and size of muscles. Training may involve the use of weights in reps and sets or circuits using high intensity aerobics - although strength training is primarily an anaerobic form of exercise. Weightlifting is an athletic discipline in the modern Olympic programme. Many other sports use strength training as part of their training regime.

Not everyone wants a physique like Schwarzenegger, but toned muscles not only look good but improve your performance in many other sports. Its a form of exercise that can help you recover from injury, improve your posture and strengthen your bones too. You can take it further and compete or use strength training for all round fitness, stamina and wellbeing.
