Swing Dance is a group of dances that developed with jazz music in the 1920s-1940s. Also known as Jitterbug, the majority of swing dances began in African American communities. There were hundreds of styles of swing dancing, but those that have survived include the Lindy Hop, Balboa and the Charleston. Swing Dancing is often extended to include other dances such as West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Modern Jive, Ceroc, Boogie Woogie and other dances which developed after the 1940s.
Swing era band leader, Cab Calloway, named these dances because, as he put it 'the dancers look like a bunch of jitterbugs out there on the floor'. Swing dancing means different things to different people but it means fun and high energy to everyone. There are plenty of beginners classes and you might find you're pretty quickly hooked - It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!

Organises overseas expeditions
HulaHub makes it much, much easier!
"I have been running wilderness adventure challenges for the past twenty years as well as being an adventurer myself. One of my issues has always been making contact with enough like minded people to make an adventure viable. Whether it is going to the North Pole or ascending unclimbed peaks in the wildernesses of Eastern Europe, it has been tricky to reach out to good people and put your dream on other people’s radar."
HulaHub helps me manage my appointments
"One of the biggest issues for one-to-one personal trainers like me is last minute cancellations and not getting paid for those sessions. With HulaHub I can choose whether I refund or not for a client missing an appointment, which is much better for me. It's also easy to reschedule and offer an alternative that suits us both."
