Who is this activity aimed at?
If someone has a medical condition that could affect performance or mobility and balance then they should consult their GP first. Loose clothing and comfortable footwear are advisable.
About this activity
For promoting good posture, balance, breathing, as well as flexibility and strength. Open to all ages for both men and women. Ideal for those of senior years and those who suffer from asthma, arthritis, and osteoporosis and other related problems. A number of aids are used such as stretch band.
What we'll do
People should wear comfortable and loose fitting clothes and suitable footwear. Bring a mat or towel and also some water. For those with restricted mobility, most of the movements can be done on chairs or even some other supportive aids. Silk fans and Tanbo (short sticks) as well the jo (long staff) are also used in enhancing ones' training programme.
