Adventure parks are visitor parks full of physically or mentally challenging recreational activities. They contain a variety of obstacle courses, often involving high platforms, canopy tours, rope climbing and zip wires. They challenge visitors to test their stamina, strength and courage while having fun. No experience or expertise is necessary as the environment is strictly controlled and regulated.
Adventure parks offer differing levels of challenge which appeal to children and adults alike. They are often found in beautiful natural environments so visitors can experience them from a new perspective like the tops of the trees! These fun-for-everyone days out grew out of military training exercises from World War II.
