Horse Riding sports are individual sports and activities in which the participant is on horseback. There are many disciplines in Horse Riding sports. In Eventing a single horse and rider compete with others across the three disciplines of Dressage, Cross-Country, and Show Jumping. Endurance riding involves competitive long-distance races, or Trail riding can be a leisure sport.
You don't need your own horse to start riding but you do need specialist instruction. As your skills grow, there are lots of disciplines you can try such as Dressage, Cross Country and Show Jumping or Endurance. If you don't want to compete but want to get outdoors on horseback, take a trail ride or hack along bridle paths and forest roads.
