Aerobics is exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic movements with stretching and strength training. With the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength and cardio-vascular fitness) aerobics is usually performed to music in a group setting led by an instructor. Practitioners perform routines of a number of different dance-like exercises.
