Squash is a racket sport played in a four-walled court with a hollow rubber ball. The players must alternate in striking the ball with their racket and hit the ball onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court. The ball may strike the side or back walls at any time, as long as it hits below the out line. It must not hit the floor after hitting the racket and before hitting the front wall. Players may move anywhere around the court but typically return to the centre of the court after striking a shot.
Squash is a fun indoor sport which provides fantastic health benefits for people of all ages. It gives you intense cardiovascular exercise and really improves your stamina. If you want to play more competitively, join a league or get involved in a local competition.
