Karting is a type of open-wheel motorsport with small, open, four-wheeled vehicles called karts. Also known as Go-Karts, they are usually raced on scaled-down circuits. Sprint racing takes place on dedicated kart circuits resembling small road courses while Speedway happens on asphalt or clay tracks. A Micro Kart is a small, one passenger, mini go-kart while Superkart is a class of racing vehicle which has several characteristics usually found on open-wheel racing cars.
Kart racing is a fun way to challenge yourself while getting a feel for track racing. Anyone can do it, no matter what your age. There are indoor and outdoor tracks where you can take lessons before heading out for a drive and, if you're really keen, you can get a licence and compete.
