Off-roading is the activity of driving a vehicle on unsurfaced roads or natural terrain. This motor sport takes place over a variety of terrains: Dune bashing over sand dunes or longer distance cross-country on desert routes and other ground; Green laning along unsurfaced tracks or Mudding through wet mud or clay. Rock crawling and Rock racing are extreme forms of off road driving. RTV (Road Taxed Vehicle) trailing is a common form of trailing which happens on farmland or at off-road driving centres. Cross Country Vehicle (CCV) trailing is open to non-road-legal vehicles.
There's no point in having an off road vehicle if you don't go off road occasionally - so, what are you waiting for? Fields, mud, sand dunes, rocks or roads that have fallen into disrepair - all perfect for the off roading fan. Do it for the scenery, the challenge or the competition - just get driving!
