Roller and inline hockey are types of hockey played while wearing skates. These team sports are played on a wood, asphalt, cement or sport tile surface. Players use a hockey stick to shoot a hard plastic puck into their opponent's goal to score points. Teams normally consist of sixteen players but only five, including the goalie, are on the rink at a time.
Roller and inline hockey are exciting sports that test your balance and stamina. The small teams allow for a free flowing game of high-speed sprints as players chase the puck up and down the rink wearing skates and using hockey sticks. It's great fun learning all that fancy footwork and it will get certainly get you fit - just make sure you're wearing all the safety gear!
