Sort out your fun-life! Join local ice hockey teams. Follow, friend and meet other ice hockey players. Ice hockey and a whole range of leisure activities.
A sport in which teams use sticks to shoot a puck into their opponents' net. Played on an ice rink, ice hockey teams usually consist of 6 players each - 1 goaltender and five players who skate up and down the ice with hockey sticks trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team. This is a full contact sport, so players wear a helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves and shin pads.
Ice hockey is a fast-paced, physical sport most popular in Canada and the northern United States but you can find recreational teams at ice rinks all over the world - clubs can help you out with equipment. It's great exercise and, if you love team games and skating, why not try it?
